Lahore September 11, 2024: The construction of Masjid-e-Zahra in Lahore continues to progress at a steady pace, with significant advancements on multiple fronts. The work on the mosque’s main gate has reached an important milestone as the dome structure above the gate is nearly complete. The intricate design and craftsmanship being applied to the gate reflect the attention to detail, and the project is moving closer to its final form. The gate serves as a key focal point for the mosque, and its construction is being prioritized to ensure timely completion.
In addition to the main gate, the development of the mosque’s washroom facilities is also advancing rapidly. The washroom’s masonry work is currently in progress. The construction team is working diligently to ensure that these essential facilities are not only functional but also in harmony with the overall architectural aesthetics of the mosque. This will provide convenience to the worshippers while maintaining the spiritual atmosphere of the mosque.
Tile work across the mosque, particularly on the roof, is also a key area of focus. The golden tiles being applied to the mosque’s domes add to its majestic appearance. The team has completed the tiling of several domes and is now working on finishing the remaining sections. The gleaming tiles not only enhance the visual appeal of the mosque but also reflect the grandeur of the entire structure.

Furthermore, construction work on the wall surrounding the adjacent graveyard is making good progress. The masonry and plastering of the wall are well underway, with careful attention being given to both durability and design. The area between the mosque and the graveyard has been filled with soil, preparing the ground for future landscaping and ensuring that the space complements the overall environment of the mosque.
