Lahore September 12, 2024:The construction of Masjid-e-Zahra in Lahore is progressing swiftly, with significant developments in key areas of the project. The work on the main gate has reached a crucial phase, with the structure of the dome above the gate now completed. According to Sultan Naeem Abbas Sahib, the in-charge of the project, “The main gate is not only an entry point but a symbol of the mosque’s spiritual essence. We are paying close attention to every detail to ensure it represents the magnificence of Masjid-e-Zahra.”
Another vital aspect of the construction is the development of the washrooms, which is advancing rapidly. Sultan Naeem Abbas Sahib emphasized the importance of these facilities, stating, “The washrooms are being constructed with modern designs while ensuring that they blend seamlessly with the overall structure of the mosque. We are committed to providing facilities that are both practical and respectful of the mosque’s environment.”
The tile work on the mosque’s domes and roof is also progressing well, adding to the visual beauty of Masjid-e-Zahra. The golden tiles on several domes have been completed, while work on the remaining areas is ongoing. Abbas Sahib shared his insights, noting, “The tile work is one of the most visually striking aspects of the mosque. The golden tiles, especially on the domes, are designed to catch the light, giving the mosque a radiant appearance from a distance. This phase is crucial for enhancing the mosque’s aesthetic appeal.
