Lahore, Oct 01, 2024 – The construction of Masjid-e-Zahra, situated at Sundar Adda, Multan Road, Lahore, continues to progress, with significant milestones achieved in recent weeks. Ramzan Bahoo, a key figure in overseeing the project, shared the latest updates on the developments taking place.
According to Mr. Bahoo, the focus in recent weeks has been on the finishing details of the mosque, including tile work, electrical installations, and exterior beautification. “The main gate and surrounding walls are being adorned with exquisite tile designs that reflect the traditional Islamic architectural style. We have selected durable materials to ensure both the beauty and longevity of the mosque,” he shared.
In addition to the aesthetic enhancements, functional aspects like the construction of washrooms and wudu areas have also seen major advancements. “Our priority is to make sure the mosque offers complete facilities for the worshippers. The tiles used in the washrooms and ablution areas are easy to maintain and align with modern hygiene standards,” added Mr. Bahoo.
The walls surrounding the mosque’s courtyard and graveyard are also being strengthened, ensuring both security and privacy for the sacred space. Mr. Bahoo emphasized that these finishing touches are being done meticulously to meet the high standards set for this spiritual center.

While much of the construction is nearing completion, Ramzan Bahoo noted that work on the interior of the mosque, including the prayer hall and minbar, will follow in the next phase. The community is eagerly anticipating the final unveiling of Masjid-e-Zahra, which promises to be a landmark of spiritual and architectural significance in the area.
