Monday, 11 November 2024: Under the banner of Tehreek Dawat-e-Faqr preaching department, the ongoing series of November 2024 preaching tours continues to spread the teachings of Faqr and Sufism across Pakistan. In this regard, a dedicated team comprising Dr. Sultan Mohammad Hasnain Mahboob, Sultan Mohammad Ahsan Ali, and Nouman Saqib visited a private cold storage facility in 114/15-L Mian Channu, located in District Khanewal. This outreach effort was supported by team members Babar Nazir and Mohammad Zahid, who worked tirelessly to help deliver the message of spiritual enlightenment to the local community.
During this visit, the TDF representatives engaged with the general public and employees of the facility, initiating discussions on the profound benefits of Ism-e-Azam (Ism-e-Allah Zaat). They explained that the Ism-e-Azam is not just a revered name, but a powerful tool for self-realization and closeness to Allah, which can elevate a seeker’s spiritual state, bringing inner peace, guidance, and a deeper understanding of Divine truth. They encouraged everyone to embrace this sacred practice as a means of purifying the heart and experiencing Divine love.
Another essential part of the discussion highlighted the pivotal role of a Perfect Spiritual Guide (Murshid Kamil Akmal) in a seeker’s journey. They conveyed Sultan Bahoo’s teachings on the necessity of a Murshid, explaining that the journey toward Faqr requires the guidance of a spiritually accomplished teacher. They spoke of how the Murshid acts as a bridge, connecting the seeker with the Divine through self-purification, wisdom, and unwavering love for Allah. The representatives invited everyone to reflect on the importance of choosing a Murshid who embodies these qualities and can lead them toward enlightenment.
In addition to their discussions, they extended a heartfelt invitation to the upcoming Urs of Sultan-ul-Arifeen Sultan Bahoo, an event that celebrates the life, teachings, and spiritual legacy of this esteemed Sufi saint. They described the Urs as an opportunity for attendees to immerse themselves in Sultan Bahoo’s teachings, engage in spiritual gatherings, and find inspiration and guidance for their personal journeys toward Divine love.
Furthermore, the TDF team distributed copies of Monthly Sultan-ul-Faqr Lahore, a publication dedicated to spreading the message of Sultan Bahoo and the teachings of Faqr. The magazine serves as a valuable resource, offering insights, articles, and guidance on various aspects of Sufi spirituality and the practice of Faqr. Recipients were encouraged to read the publication and share it within their communities, spreading Sultan Bahoo message of selflessness, Divine love, and the pursuit of spiritual knowledge.
