On Thursday, 24th October 2024, the dedicated team from Tehreek Dawat-e-Faqr conducted a significant preaching session in the Sundar area on Raiwind Road, Lahore. Led by Professor Sultan Hafiz Hammad-ur-Rehman, alongside committed members Mohammad Nadeem, Mohammad Hussain, and Wajid Ali, this spiritual mission aimed to spread the profound teachings of Islamic mysticism and invite people toward a life of inner peace, Divine connection, and self-realization.
The session was carefully organized to introduce the local community to the invaluable blessings that come from the blessed company of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman, the esteemed spiritual successor of Prophet Mohammad (pbuh). The team highlighted the importance of embarking on a journey towards Allah through the invocation and contemplation of Ism-e-Azam, the supreme name of Allah. They explained how this practice, when performed under the guidance of a true spiritual mentor, is not only a path to spiritual tranquility but also a means of achieving eternal success and inner fulfillment.
During this session, Professor Sultan Hafiz Hammad-ur-Rehman and the team invited the general public to take part in the upcoming Bazm-e-Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen gathering, a spiritual assembly that offers seekers the chance to delve deeply into the teachings of Faqr (spiritual poverty) and connect with like-minded individuals on the path of Tasawwuf (Islamic mysticism). Through attending this gathering, attendees would have the unique opportunity to engage in Zikr (remembrance of Allah) and Muraqaba (spiritual contemplation), practices that are transformative in nurturing one’s soul and aligning oneself with Divine love.
The team also took this occasion to distribute copies of the Monthly Sultan-ul-Faqr Lahore, a publication that provides in-depth insights into the teachings of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen and the path of Faqr. These publications are valuable resources for anyone interested in understanding the essence of Islamic spirituality and developing a strong, personal connection with Allah. The monthly magazine includes guidance, reflections, and wisdom that serve as a roadmap for spiritual seekers to remain steadfast on the path of self-purification and enlightenment.
Furthermore, the team extended an invitation to the public to attend the upcoming Urs of Syedna Ghaus al-Azam—a celebration honoring the life and teachings of one of the greatest Sufi saints in history. This event provides an additional opportunity for individuals to immerse themselves in a gathering rich with spirituality, historical remembrance, and communal solidarity, where they can experience the blessings of the saint’s legacy and draw inspiration from his profound spiritual contributions.
Through this gathering, the message of Tehreek Dawat-e-Faqr was clearly conveyed: that true success and eternal peace can only be achieved by aligning one’s heart with Allah, by shedding material attachments, and by embracing the practices of Faqr and Tasawwuf. This mission seeks to revitalize the true spirit of Islam, inspiring individuals to pursue a life centered around Divine love, compassion, and unity. The teachings and guidance provided by Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman serve as a beacon of light for all who seek a genuine and fulfilling path toward spiritual growth.
The outreach conducted in Sundar stands as a testament to the organization’s commitment to spreading the teachings of Faqr, as the team continues its work in cities, towns, and communities, making these transformative teachings accessible to people from all walks of life. The profound impact of this event and the response from the community underscores the significance of these spiritual efforts, reminding us of the invaluable gift of Divine knowledge and the importance of having a guiding mentor to lead one towards the ultimate truth.
