[Lahore, Pakistan] – August 14, 2024
Tehreek Dawat-e-Faqr, under the spiritual guidance of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman, extends warmest wishes to the nation on the 77th Independence Day of Pakistan.
History of Pakistan’s Formation
Pakistan gained independence on August 14, 1947, after a prolonged struggle against British colonial rule and Hindu domination. The vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and the sacrifices of countless Muslims led to the creation of a separate homeland. This historic event marked the end of British slavery and the beginning of a new era for Muslims in the subcontinent.
Message from Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen
On this auspicious occasion, Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen emphasizes the importance of adopting Faqr for true spiritual elevation. He states,
“Faqr is the essence of Islam, and it is the key to achieving inner peace, unity, and prosperity. As we celebrate our independence, let us strive to free ourselves from the slavery of worldly desires and ego, and embark on a journey of spiritual liberation.”
Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen further adds, “The founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, was a visionary leader who united the Muslim nation. Similarly, we must unite under the banner of Faqr, transcending sectarian and linguistic divisions, to build a harmonious and spiritually enlightened society.”
