Lahore, Pakistan – Khanqah Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen proudly celebrated the Annual Urs Sultan Bahoo Ceremony, a tribute to the spiritual teachings and legacy of the revered Sufi Saint, Sultan Bahoo. The event, held on 08 December, attracted devotees, scholars, and spiritual seekers from across Pakistan and around the world.
The ceremony began with a soulful recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by melodious Na’at and Manqabat, setting a serene and spiritually uplifting tone. Distinguished scholars and spiritual leaders shared inspiring speeches that delved into the life and teachings of Sultan Bahoo, emphasizing his philosophy of Divine Love, spiritual enlightenment, and unity.
Under the esteemed leadership of the custodian of Khanqah Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen, the event highlighted the relevance of Sufism in fostering inner peace and connecting with the Divine. A captivating Sama (spiritual music) session and the recitation of Durood-o-Salam further deepened the spiritual ambiance, leaving attendees in a state of profound devotion and reflection.
The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt collective dua, seeking blessings for global peace, harmony, and the prosperity of the Muslim Ummah. A traditional Langar (community meal) was served to thousands of attendees, embodying the spirit of inclusivity and generosity that Sultan Bahoo championed.
