A significant conference was held today at the Tehreek Dawat e Faqr office in Pindigheb, Punjab, Pakistan, to delve into the profound teachings of Sultan Bahoo regarding the love of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). The event was chaired by renowned scholar Sultan Hafiz Mohammad Nasir Majeed, joined by Professor Sultan Mohammad Hammad ur Rehman and Mr. Faizan Yaseen Ph.D.
In his keynote address, Sultan Nasir Majjed highlighted the central theme of Sultan Bahoo’s philosophy: the paramount importance of loving the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). He emphasized that true faith cannot be achieved without this deep-rooted love, as it is a fundamental pillar of Islam.
Majjed quoted verses from the Quran where Allah commands Muslims to love His Prophet and reminded the audience of the Hadith where Allah is said to have created the universe for the Prophet.
Professor Sultan Hafiz Mohammad Hammad ur Rehman further elaborated on Sultan Bahoo’s connection to the Prophet pbuh. He explained that Sultan Bahoo was a prominent figure among those who love “People of the Cloak,”.
This connection is celebrated annually with a grand gathering at the Sultan Bahoo Darbar during the 8-10 Muharram.
Mr. Faizan Yaseen Ph.D. shared his insights on the path to attaining the true love of the Prophet. According to Sultan Bahoo, he said, it is essential to seek the guidance of a perfect spiritual guide. The love of the Prophet pbuh does not flourish in the hearts of those who lack spiritual direction, and the Divine vision remains elusive without the companionship of a true mentor.
The conference served as a valuable platform for scholars and devotees to explore the rich teachings of Sultan Bahoo and to reaffirm the central role of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) in the Islamic faith. The event was a testament to the enduring legacy of Sultan Bahoo and his profound influence on the spiritual landscape of Pakistan.
