The annual Urs of Hazrat Sultan Bahoo was held on December 8, 2024, at Khanqah Sultan ul Ashiqeen with great devotion and love. Thousands of devotees gathered to honor the great Sufi saint and immerse themselves in an atmosphere of spirituality and unity. The event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, filling the air with a sense of peace and blessings. This was followed by heartfelt naats praising the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), creating a deeply emotional connection among the participants.
The highlight of the event was the inspiring speech by Sultan Ahsan Ali Sarwari Qadri, who shared the profound teachings of Sultan Bahoo. He emphasized the importance of devotion to Allah, self-purification, and serving humanity with humility. Later, Ramzan Bahoo recited quatrains from Sultan Bahoo’s poetry, which touched the hearts of the audience and reminded them of the timeless wisdom of the saint.
As the gathering continued, a soulful recitation of Salam on the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) resonated in the Khanqah. The moment was filled with reverence and love. This was followed by the distribution of Langar (blessed food) among the attendees, symbolizing the spirit of equality and service in Sufism.
In a spiritually significant moment, Sultan ul Ashiqeen Hazrat Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman led a ceremony where he took Bayat (pledge of allegiance) from seekers of Allah. He granted them the Ism-e-Allah Zaat (personal name of Allah) to guide them on the path of Divine closeness and enlightenment. This act marked the spiritual transformation of many attendees, who felt blessed and inspired.
The Urs celebration not only honored the legacy of Sultan Bahoo but also carried forward his message of love, devotion, and unity, inspiring thousands to seek the path of Allah.
